My dad was admitted to hospital again this morning. I just spoke to mom, she is not sure when the results will be out. I hope dad will be okay. But he is fine at the moment, resting at hospital. I’m not sure whether I am going back again to SP this weekend or not, depends what update I will get from ayong later this evening. Ayong is in Perai today for work, and he will visit dad later this evening.
To my cousins : If you guys are reading this, keep it low key as Paklong/Pakngah does not want Nenek to know about this.
Petang ni sure habis kaler biru kat stadium bukit jalil. I takde lah fanatic soccer fan, fanatic EPL ke. Tapi layan lah jugak. Stay-up jugak time2 game yang rasa2 best, time world cup, time euro game baru-baru ni. Faham jugak lah kalau tengok orang main bola, tak lah seteruk I buta IT.
Time-time ni teringat time MU datang dulu. Tahun berapa entah, dah lupa. Dapat 4 ticket free. Angkut Eddy Toh, my adik and my friend Saiful. We went in that little kancil of mine dengan penuh excited. Puas lah tengok time tu David Beckham main bola depan mata. Enjoy betul. Those were the days. Hari ni kat office, dari pagi the guys dah sibuk cakap pasal today’s match. I know 2 of them are going. And I know some friends of mine who are overseas are coming back to KL for this game. And I know a fanatic Chelsea guy is off duty today all the way from Middle East nak tengok game petang nanti.
And I will definately will get the review from Eddy Toh first thing tomorrow morning. He is very excited about it. Wearing his Chelsea blue jersey today. Hehehehe.
Since aku tak boleh makan banyak hari ni (diet lah, konon……………) I nak post pasal food today.

Boraque (pronouced as BORAK) Kopitiam is situated somewhere kat Danau Kota area. If you are from Setapak, take the left turn at traffic light in front of JPJ/Puspakom. If you are from Wangsa Maju, MRR2, Kem Wardieburn, turn right at the traffic light. If you use Jalan Gombak, enter the Jalan Taman Ibukota after Medan Idaman (Ong Tai Kim). Just go along the road, until you see Platinum Walk opposite 7eleven. The place is on the same row as Old Town White coffee facing the main road. Take note of the yellow colour (teramat lah yellow nya, DIGI should make a big promo at this place!) row of shops.

Western food, (steak, chicken chop, fish & chips, shepeard pie etc), malay food (they have roti jala, lontong, soto) roti bakar, italian food (segala pasta & spegathi), chinese food (wantan mee etc), nasi lemak, vegetarian food, yummy deserts, food untuk orang-orang yang berkira segala kalori yang nak dimakan pun ada. Ada about 100 lebih type of food from its menu that you can try.
Price?
The fried rice is definately less than RM8!
Price is reasonable with the portion of food that they serve.
It is usually full on Weekends, and during dinner time on week nights. I’m not sure what time it opens, but definately close quite late at night. I’ve been to this place many times already with family and friends and yet to finish trying all of its dishes.

Eerrrrr……… cepat lah pukul 7pm, nak dinner. Seriously…. lapar!

Uploading Pictures
So, you finally did it, tapi masih ada yang tak kena - the picture is small and you did not adjust it properly. This is what you should do:
Get yourself a photo editing software. I use IrfanView and sometimes PhotoScape. Go to donwload.com and search for it, both are freeware.
Make a working directory and copy the photos you want to edit there. Anything happen, you originals are safe.
Use IrfanView to resize you photos, save and then upload
Dah selesai upload, adjust lah sikit.
Here’s how.
Tak resize pun takpe, but you can’t fit your picture nicely into you post. Lagipun, lepas resize, the file size is also smaller, lebih cepat untuk diupload.

My colleagues (being Abby, Loga & PL) and myself got it during MATTA fair, we booked, but at last it was paid by one of our Sales Associates whom I always fight with every Monday. Hehehe. Ni Abby punya kerja lah ketuk mamat tu. But at the end, PL changed her mind, so left only 3 of us.
So, we left on Sunday afternoon at 2pm from KL Sentral. Took the bus, cost us RM3.30 to the Genting Skyway, and then paid another RM5 for the cable car. The cabel car journey was quite fast, thank God as I am afraid of heights. By the time we arrived, it was raining. We took our number and lepak outside drinking hot coffee and gossiping about office (hehehehe). It took us almost 3 hours to get our room keys. The check-in procedures at First World Hotel starts at 3pm. Imagine 6228 rooms to be processed. And there were many people from China & Arabs. We checked-in, lepak-lepak kejap and went to the Indoor Theme Park in the hotel itself. We had dinner at Pizza Hut and proceed with the show, DREAMZ.
The shops at the Indoor Theme park were still open at 1150pm and most people took the megasale opportunity to shop including myself. I found a backpack for RM15. After shopping, Abby & Loga insist that we go out for a walk. I was ?????????? Sejuk lah. I’m on my heels, without jacket (pandai sangat pegi Genting tak bawak kasut proper and my shawl), redah aja. We slept at 2am.
Next morning, after breakfast, I got myself a pair of new flat shoes. Murah & good quality. Then we went to the Outdoor Theme Park. Loga got 22% discount for using DIGI. I kena heret by those 2 for all the major rides. Semput kejap. Terasa melambung-lambung kat udara, lucky tak pengsan or muntah. Last I did this was ages ago in Australia, say 12 years back. But I had fun. Penat gelak & jerit sakan. I sempat lelap for an hour in the room that evening. They also have a cinema and bowling alley in First World Hotel. We watched Hellboy2.
Come 3rd day, I told my colleagues I am not going to anymore rides or games. Dah penat! By noon we checked-out, had lunch and balik with a happy feeling. Lega tak payah fikir pasal office. The only thing I did was to call the bank on Monday morning and gave the authority for my colleague to do BSP. Withing less then 20 minutes, semua settle.
Tips to go genting :
1) Jangan jadi macam aida : jangan pakai heels, jangan lupa bawak jacket. So pakai flat shoes.
2) Spare extra budget for food. Either you go to the food court or fastfood outlets, it will cost you about RM20- RM30 per meal per person. I had RM18 nasi campur.
3) For the Muslim, not all makan outlet are halal. They may be pork-free, but not necessary halal, although you can see Muslim staff at the food outlet, so ask first.
4) If you bring along your children, please be extra cautious and alert of their whereabouts. They can go crazy at the theme park both indoors and outdoors.
5) First World hotel is very basic. Cute & comfortable. The rooms are small and the provide small tv. But they have good clear channels and movie channels too.
I will go there again one fine day, probably with Hariz & Nurin. Tunggu diorang besar siket, baru boleh enjoy.
Okay, I don’t know what happened to WordPress, but today, upon signing-in, the display is totally different. My brother must had done something about it. Suddenly it is quite simple and straight forward. I guess he is tired layan adik dia yang mengada ni. Hehehehe. Well, here goes….

Nak letak my pix pegi genting last weekend. Tapi asyik hang aja. Asyik kuar error on page. Dah lah aku ni buta IT terkial-kial, internet ni, ke computer ni yang bangang????????? (oits, diri sendiri tak pandai, lagi mau komplen. :P)
Ayong cakap nanti try balik. Besok pagi je lah buat kalau ada mood balik. Am at Sungai Petani for the weekend. Ahad malam balik. Duduk SP takde mood, duduk KL pun lagi lousy mood. Mood oh mood, mana lari pergi? Dah semput-semput carik ni?
It is 8pm in Kuala Lumpur at the moment. I’m going back in 10 minutes time. Had to finish my paper work as I will be on leave until next Wednesday. I will be out of KL for a while. Yeay!
