Today is my younger brother’s birthday. He is 28 years old today. Happy birthday Adik! Being the youngest, he is the most manja….. (manja je, bab mengada tu memang kakngah yang champion) I hope he will have a great life ahead, a happy family, and a good health. Thanks adik for all your guidance and for being such a sporting brother. I love you very much. Muahs….

Weekend lepas pergi Melaka. At first I malas nak pergi. My dad had his reunion with his police squad buddies. It is a yearly gathering for them and I don’t feel to be stuck with 60 years old men. But my mom said they too bring their families and my dad had booked extra rooms for me and my siblings, so off I went on Saturday.

We had dinner at INB resort, somewhere in Durian Tunggal area. It was BBQ plus karaoke. Gathering orang-orang lama, apa lagi, lagu oldies ja memanjang. My dad sang 4 songs. Orang tua tu memang kalau dah pegang micraphone, jangan harap dia nak lepaskan. But I had fun, there was mother and son in-law duet, there was this young guy with a very good voice, there were this 2 old men singing Elvis’s song siap buat gaya sekali, nak pecah perut tengok diorang. Wives semuanya sporting, and apparently after every year meeting with each other, the kaum ibu bonded very well.

Next morning, after breakfast, it was free and easy. My younger brother a.k.a adik ajak pegi Jonker’s street.Sibuk nak makan laksa and cendol. The cendol was yummy. Worth parking jauh and walk all the way to the shop. After makan, kitorang jalan2 and shopping. Ada banyak kedai, most of them sells antiques, and souvenirs. Mom spotted kedai kasut manik, and she insist nak beli satu. Terus dia cakap “mama tak bawak duit lah!” Aiseyman, habis my sister in-law kena paw. Hehehehe. My sister bought bracelets. I found my heaven, kedai penuh jual rantai manik2 at RM10 only! Apa lagi, borong lah!

After shopping, we went to my dad’s friend house for lunch. Ada ikan keli bakar masak lemak and asam pedas daging. Rumah uncle ni ada dusun, so penuh rambutan & durian. Lepas lunch, my parents balik KL terus with my sister, while my brother’s family and myself went to Zoo Melaka to visit my favourite rimaugirl. Chit-chat dengan Wahir for a while.

Sampai KL dah lewat petang, dengan takde handphone (satu handphone bateri dah kong, satu lagi my mom accidently jatuhkan dalam longkang). After hantar adik, emma & kyra, pegi kajang for dinner, had black pepper burger.

Hari Isnin I MC, tak masuk office. Nasib baik payment semua dah settle. At noon I pegi ATM nak withdraw duit, kad pulak kena telan. Dah lah takde cash langsung. Apa lagi, balik rumah, makan je cereal until dinner time baru dapat makan nasi courtersy of encik supir. I got my atm card back yesterday, baru rasa bernyawa balik.

Tuesday I met all my siblings and the kids. Ada family matter sket, transporting strollers and walkers for the kids. Slept at 1am.

Rabu, semalam went for transformers, 2nd round with my colleague, sampai rumah pun lewat.

Hari ni plan nak tido awal, past 2 weeks tido tak lena. Rasa cepat letih.

I lepak with my family through out the weekend and it was good. Mom&dad arrived in Friday evening, lepak at nenek’s house in Gombak that night. I had stomach upset, muntah tak tau kenapa. And it seems that I’ve been getting it every other day. Dad say I ada gastrik, asyik makan ja pun boleh kena gastrik ke? Anyway I’m supposed to see the doctor about it, and planning to do it sometime this week.

Hari Sabtu pagi kasi settle plumbing problems kat rumah. Mama leter kenapa tak repair bilik air bawah since she broke the pipe handler early last month. I reminded her that I’m staying alone, I have another 2 bathrooms all to myself. Tapi dia bising jugak asking me to fix it as the water pressure for downstair’s bathroom is superduper power compared to the one in master bedroom and in the 2nd room. Hence, kena lah I panggil plumber datang fix apa patut, and alang2 tu tukar semua pipe, water filter, apa2 yang patut. Kopak terus. And I was late to my cousin’s engagement ceremony. Well, tak lah lewat mana, sampai just on time tetamu pun sampai, tapi tak sempat nak tolong hidang/susun apa2 yang patut. But mom was there early, I’m sure dia dah buat on my behalf – mama mmg tak reti duduk diam during kenduri

The ceremony went well, babah as usual jadi jurucakap on behalf of the family. I met my siblings there, and so as my other cousins yang dah lama tak jumpa, plus nieces and nephews, and aunties and uncles (my parent’s cousins). The kenduri will be held sometime early of next year. Dah terdengar-dengar suara2 radio rosak asal tengok my face, “anak Ipin (take note dad’s name is Ariffin) ni bila pulak?” Of course my aunties semua cool, ni pangkat2 nenek2 sedara and jiran2 along nenek’s house. As usual, I gave my sweet smile to them and try not to be sensitive about the question.

It was a really hot day that Saturday, tapi sempat posing2, makan sudah semestinya apatah lagi semua yang dijamu tersangat lah sedap. Terima kasih tuan rumah. Hehehehe. After that, ada bday celebration, potong2 kek, then berborak and kemas. I managed to tapau apa yang patut. Untuk saya makan breakfast and lunch sehingga hari rabu di office

Went back home feeling very tired. The plan to watch movie with my parents, nephew & niece semua cancel. Babah pun tak larat. So we ended up watching TV at home and borak2. Kakteh & Azrin decided to visit the night market in Danau Kota. I slept early that night (11pm on Saturday kira awal sangat2 lah tu). Next morning, we had the leftovers for breakfast, then tengok tv. After Zohor we left for Seremban. Mama nak tengok rumah dia. Adik, Emma & my niece, Kyra followed us. Went and visited 2 of my mom’s friends. We reached KL around 9pm terus pergi Sungai Buloh. Had dinner at my brother’s place. Well, atuk & opah sibuk nak tengok cucu, so layan je lah.

Balik last night, terus tido. Pagi ni as usual, liat nak bangun. My parents balik SP today. I’m going back to SP in 2 weeks time. Ada kerja. Then have to go to east Malaysia pulak. Oh, start dah travelling, satu benda yang paling I tak suka buat.

Hari ni nasib baik BSP lepas, kalau tak, ada aku monyok seharian. Plan nak pegi tengok movie this weekend with my nephew & niece, kena arrange schedule balik.
