Saya rasa seronok weekend kali ni. Dapat meluangkan masa bersama keluarga dan sanak saudara. Sabtu pagi saya pergi KLCC dengan Amy. Dia ni cousin tak ada darah dengan saya (well…. that is what we called it, hehehe). Amy is my cousin belah mother punya cousin belah father dia (go figure), but somehow we are close,and I always lepak rumah Amy’s parents masa saya bujang. Amy and her siblings ni dah macam adik2 saya. Di KLCC bersama Amy, apa lagi, shopping la. Saya carik birthday present untuk Kyra (my niece, my little Kyra). Pening jugak apa nak beli sebab Kyra memang banyak toys. Dia ada cakap nak barbie, tapi dengan semua orang pun dia cakap nak barbie, ended up saya beli bagpack barbie yang sesuai dengan ketinggian dia yang tak berapa tinggi tu. Sambil tu terfikir jugak, kalau Sofea Bambam (my other niece) nampak ni, mesti dia nak jugak, so, saya beli 2 skali. And I add-on a pencil box set harga RM13.90 ada pencil, ruler, erase barbie untuk cousin Kyra yang datang bercuti rumah dia.

Habis shopping, balik rumah, ambik DK, off we went to Puchong. Emma & Azril (my adik) buat sambutan ulangtahun Kyra di kedai tudung mereka (lihat sini). Ramai yang datang, sepupu sepapat, aunty-aunty and uncle-uncle sekelian. Meriah, sambil makan, sambil borak, sambil shopping! Buat party kat tudung outlet, apa lagi, membeli belah lah kami kaum hawa. Ada yang beli satu, ada yang amik dua, ada jugak yang memborong!

Dari kedai Emma, saya & DK balik Denai Alam. Had dinner with the family, borak-borak with my parents in-law.

Pagi tadi, after breakfast, saya siap-siap pegi Tropicana Mall. Nak tengok TinTin. DK, his siblings, kami bawak sekali Hariz (my nephew) and Aman, Akim & Hanna (anak-anak sedara belah DK). After movie, makan2, DK ajak pegi OU pulak, shopping lagi dengan DK.

So, kesimpulannya, 2 hari shopping, mana saya tak happy kan?????

Harap weekend ada sebahagia weekend saya.

My nephew, my darling Hariz Danial, took the UPSR examination this year. We did not put that much hope, just kept telling him to try his very best and hope for the best. But we did promised him rewards if he excels. Atok (my dad) promised a handphone (babah… he is too young for it ok!!!), and my brother (Hariz’s Father) said he can ask anything he wants (Hariz is eyeing one of the PSP game). My husband promised to give him movie and makan treat. Makngah???

Of course Makngah and her big mouth dares him to get 5As. And will reward him RM50 for each A he gets, provided all As. Satu subject takde A, the deal is off.

We were all quite worried (me actually, parents dia relax ja) because he was out of school for few weeks due to eye infection. He didn’t go to school, but he did his revision at home, under Ibu’s supervision. But nearer to the exam date, we gave our encouragement and prayed for the best.

I was anxious last night, wondering what will the result be. Siap pesan kat my sis-in-law to call me first before telling others, no matte what the result will be (makngah ni drama lah, baru ja result UPSR, bukannya SPM, hehehehe)

And around 1030am this morning, my brother mms me the result and I was so happy to see all 5As!!!

Bravo Hariz Danial! So now, makngah needs to korek her tabung to give him the RM250 agreed!
Eeerr… eerrr…. can I pay in installments? hehehehe

Hariz was so happy when he told me : Makngah, 5A!!! YES!!!! I can hear him smiling with joy over the phone.

I have written the cheque, will give him this weekend when I see him.

Tahun ini buat pertama kalinya saya dapat merasa untuk beraya sebagai seorang isteri. Apa rasanya? Lebih lengkap!

Dan buat pertama kalinya saya tidak beraya di Gombak. Saya dan DK beraya di Denai Alam, rumah parents DK.

DK's kampung in Bruas, Perak. We managed to visit Opah on 3rd Raya, but sadly, Opah passed away on 12th Sept. She was 85 years old
