So, seronok tak dapat off day today? I feel blessed sbb dapat take time off from my hectic work. I did book for facial session at my favourite place : Aster Spring, Jusco AU2. Sejak mula my friend, Iza, introduced kat I pasal facial Aster Spring, I memang tak pergi tempat lain. My first attempt was at SACC Mall, kebetulan jalan2 kat situ. Then I found out they have an outlet in Jusco AU2, since mid last year, I have been doing my facial there. Treatment is good, service is good, location is very near to my house, ample parking, cheap parking, and it is in a shopping mall, so after pampering myself, boleh pamper shopping pulak

I had my appointment at 2.30 pm and it ended by 5pm. That includes consultation, the facial treatment itself, I had half leg waxing (zrap… zrap… kena cabut) and of course product testing and buying. When I first started, I used to purchase per treatment as I doubt I would continue permanently. I like to try different places for different bargains etc. Or, mesti tempat tu buat hal. But I find the Aster Spring facial suits me, and its product, Dermalogica also suits me, the staff are friendly (tak harrass you suruh amik itu ini, beli itu ini, well.. they do promote, but you will not feel I kena beli lah, if not no end to this), I decided to take up one of its package early this year.

I paid RM1800, i got RM1800 worth service voucher that I can utilise, additional RM200 worth of service voucher, product voucher worth RM600, make-up voucher worth RM300 and a birthday voucher worth RM200. On top of that, from time to time, they do give other discounts and gifts or other service voucher. I usually will take the calming facial using oatmeal for the masque. Oh…. sungguh heaven. I love the part when they massage my neck, my face, my shoulder etc. And sometimes I tried using the machines, ala, yang buat circular motions on your face tu, guna serum etc, ho… boleh tidor lena. Usually, the treatment will take approximately 1 hour 45 minutes baru habis semua. And when they put on the masque on my face for that 15-20 minutes, I will doze off heavenly sampai berdengkur kadang2. Memang rasa lega after each session.

Their facials range from RM199- RM400 plus. I usually amik yang RM248 or RM298 and will add-on for eye treatment too. But today I went for an expensive one, I think about RM448. I took something new, Whitening Cooling Facial. Pergh… worth money paid. Habis tu, I decided for half leg waxing (nak pegi romantika kat Shang Ptjy kan this weekend, heheheheh). I like the result of my half leg waxing. Dah few times buat (RM68 per session), the result is satisfying for people who have hairy legs like me. Yes, saya punya bulu kaki memang lebat. But since I tried waxing, the new ones actually take time to grow, so betis saya akan hairless untuk 3-4 minggu baru naik. If shave, kejap ja, in 2 days dia dah start tumbuh, and kasar2 belaka. After tried waxing at Aster Spring, selain lambat new hair growth, the new ones are softer, silkier, halus, tak kasar and lambat nak panjang and tak lebat. Dulu I tak particular sangat pasal my face & leg since I dont have many major issues with face and my leg is only for my view (janji clean semua), tapi dah kahwin ni, semua kena jaga and maintain, hehehehe. And since hubby kasi allowance so, why not utilisekan the right way kan?

Tadi I bought the skin care kit at RM199. Ada special cleansing gel (50ml), multi active toner (50ml), lip treatment (4.5g), gentle cream exfoliant (10ml), skin smoothing cream (22ml) and 2 packs of skin hydrating masque.

Yang ni kira travelling pack, senang, tak payah nak bawak yang bagak2 kat rumah ni I also bought Averine’s product. I bought the loose powder and a lipstick. Reason being, I tak minat sangat make-up. Only for certain occasions that you will see me wearing make-up. Currently I use compact powder Artistry by Amway. Tapi if I guna kat rumah every morning to work, mesti I lupa nak bawak masuk in my handbag. So, I decided to buy one for home, and one for me to bring anywhere I go. And since Averine has Natural Colour loose powder, I decided to try it. Lipstick tu I beli sebab I love the colour, a very bright red charm. Currently, I am still using my Artistry yang DK bought for my engagement last year, tak habis2 lagi, sebab ada 2.

My face ni takde problem sangat, cuma sometimes dia dry sebab lama duduk kat office dalam aircond. Kat rumah lagi. I practically can use any brand, any kind of products. Cuma if for face wash, I prefer gel, rather milk base (rasa tak puas pakai ni). My combination of skin care products are Dermalogica (love the face wash, masque, toner and its after-sun cream), Clarins (love the moisturiser, serum and its sunblock, eye cream and lip balm), and Clinique (love its anti-blemish solution and turnaround concentrate, toner). I used to use a total Clinique product range, dari face wash sampai ke make-up, but now I mix between this 3 brands as it gives me better result and satisfaction. Sometimes if product habis and tak sempat nak pegi kedai beli, I cilok DK punya Simple skin care, hehehehe, it works on me too!

As for body wash, my favourite now is Dermalogica products, body scrub, bath gel and body lotion. In which i selang seli dengan pengunaan from Benefits products, love very much the shower gel and body cream… sangat wangi. Make up products are combination of Amway Artistry (for powder, eye shadow, lipstick), and Clinique (for blusher). Now I have Averine (sold at Aster Spring) for its loose powder and the lipstick. All these suit my very cepat peluh face.

OK then people, my next appointment at Aster Spring is on 2nd December as I will be away next month.

Pejam celik pejam celik, dah setahun saya menjadi Mrs Khairul Adlan. Time flies so fast! It has been a good one year. Marriage made me wiser, lebih bersabar, and most important, HAPPY!!! Of course we had our bad & sad times, asam garam rumah tangga, tapi semua yang berlaku mengeratkan lagi ikatan suami isteri antara saya & DK.

Our anniversary was last Saturday, 22nd Oct. We did not have any celebration as we had many invitations and we already made arrangement for the celebration to be this coming weekend. We had a wedding, 2 birthday parties, and keduri doa selamat rakan baik nak mengerjakan haji. Alhamdulillah, we managed to attend all 4 invites. By the time we got home, we both were really tired and slept!

Next morning, on Sunday, I was thinking of lazing around and do nothing. I woke up in the morning, watch tv with DK, until almost noon DK asked me to get ready for a surprise. Puas I rengek tanya apa surprise but dia buat bodoh ja (Tak surprise lah kan if dah tahu, doink lah Aida!!). So I got ready. DK drove the car to the Curve, dia teringin nak makan Popeye Fried Chicken! Dalam hati…. duh…. ini surprise dia??? Tapi I buat muka happy and enjoyed the chicken (Aida kan suka makan ayam).

After lunch, DK cakap ikut ja dia, tengok2 arah ke cinema, dalam hati…… oohhh, tengok wayang.. ok lah jugak. Tapi alih-alih dia bawak masuk Platinum Movie, I was like…. eerrrr kita nak tengok apa ni? Apparently DK bought the Platinum tickets (gold class lah tu) for Real Steel! Oh, saya sengeh sampai ke telinga!!! Hehehehe We watched the movie, after that dia kata nak kena makan lagi…. duh… my perut still penuh with ayam goreng, tapi saya layan ja. We went to Paddington House of Pancake. DK reminded me this was the place we had our actual first date…. and he choose the exact seat we had on the first date. Dalam hati…. oh!!! he remembered!!! It was very thoughtful of him, and very sweet! We had pancakes with ice cream. Habis makan, kami balik, I figure ok, that’s it, until next weekend.

Sampai rumah, I kemas apa patut, then I asked him to bring down my laptop as I wanted to do some office work while watching Masterchef USA. He came down with my laptop, and another surprise. A present and a card. I was speechless sekejap. I read the card and sebak baca the words in the card, it was perfect!. I was touched and felt bad as I didn’t get him anything, not even a card!!!

He really made my day on Sunday and now I am so looking forward for the weekend again. We are going to ShangriLa Putrajaya. We decided it will be a yearly trip since we spent our first mini honeymoon there (I really utilised his budget on Honeymoon to many-many places during the first 2 months of our marriage). We thought of going on 22nd Oct itself, but the hotel was fully booked for moto-GP. And we got a good deal for 29th, so I will wait for it.

And I just realised, I did not post anything about my wedding last year, nanti-nanti lah.
