Today is Hariz’s 9th Birthday. Happy Birthday my sayang!

Anyway, back to my only nephew, si Hariz ni, time flies so fast. Kejap aja dia dah besar. They day he was born was a very tiring day for me. I woke up very early and took the first morning flight from Subang to Penang. As I was just about to settle down at my parents’ house in Sungai Petani, ayong called us and informed the good news. My parents were very excited, first cucu lah katakan, packed their bags ready to drive to KL. And I was like??? Oh, aku baru sampai rumah mak tapi aku kena jadi drebar balik KL. Rugi betul duit flight ticket. But upon arriving at the hospital in Shah Alam, the penat gone as soon as I saw Hariz. And that day, my brother was the happiest man in the world. And up to now, Hariz just know how to ketuk makngah kaw-kaw. Toys, clothes, books, movies, jalan2, roti canai or big breakfast for sunday breakfast.
And he is all grown up at 9! Last weekend, I spent the night at Sungai Buloh, he was the one who locked the doors, make sure enough pillows for her sister and aunt on the bed. He took care of Nurin while we were out. And lately ni he is no longer the crybaby. He still cries though, but not as much as before. I think he realised he is a big boy now. Once in a while when he gave me his piece if mind about life, berdesing jugak telinga ni dengar, especially on the topic why makngah and uncle dot dot dot tak reti nak kawin-kawin lagi, asyik dating saja, tak reti kawin ke?
And he is a very caring person. He called me on Tuesday upon knowing that I was sick. Membebel suruh I makan ubat. And if he knew that I was coming to his house but he will not be in (he does spend the nights at his other cousins house on some weekends), he will call me to ask will it be alright for me to come but he won’t be home. Tapi kalau mood swing dia, sorry lah, dia buat dek!
I called him this morning to wish him. I told him that now he is all grown up, he can have a girlfriend. Hariz replied : Girlfriend?? Mana ada. Tak nak girlfriend. According to his mom, he will only have girlfriend upon entering Uni. Ye lah tu? Nanti baru masuk form 1 dah ramai keliling pinggang. Hehehe. Nanti lah Hariz….
Anyway, I hope you will enjoy your outing tomorrow with Ayah & Ibu. Be a good son, jangan malas sembahyang, belajar rajin. Hadiah makngah dah kasi kan?
Just promise me you won’t turn up to be one of these ok?

No can do 520pm, had to send the kids to OneUtama, 7pm pun no can do, need to send dad’s medicine to Gombak and kakteh was too tired to help, 8pm also cannot. Actually we could have made it for 8pm but somebody was too engrossed buat kelas keraftangan kat PJ. 920pm? Oh, no way, pukul berapa pulak nak fetch my parents balik? Instead, bought tickets for Sunday evening.
