Gaban Day (don’t ask me “what is that?”)

Hari ni sure jadi gaban kat office. I dah collect RM600k, tinggal lagi RM400k nak settle by today. Actually, ada duit tu, but it is for tour payment I have to pay in 2 weeks time. But in case I can’t collect any today, I ada reserve that I can use first. But that is not a good habit.

So must continue jadi Gaban hari ni and use all super powers to collect money by today, and hopefully, extra!!! Hehehehe.

disclaimer : No, saya bukan along, saya cuma nak tolong! (to those who thinks I work in an Along company, hehehehehe.)

Happy Mood vs Stress Mood

Hmm….

Not in happy mood, just putting it as happy mood to encourage myself to be happy. Next monday’s bill is RM 1 ,060,778.00. To those of you who do not know what my work is, eerr…. practically debt collector. :)

I’m in the accounts department of a travel agent in KL. My main job task is to make sure the company has enough money to make payment to IATA (International Air Transport Association – a body that governs travel agents and airlines), if that is not done or cannot be done on Monday before banking hours close, IATA will shutdown our ticketing system.

Now where I am going to get RM 1 million? As at the end of banking hours, I only have RM100k. Another RM900k to find next 2 days. Thursday is a public holiday – already short one day of collections. Come Friday I can only use collections that are done by cash or via rentas to our bank accounts.

So today I practically console myself with music, singing while doing work, talk nicely with all my sales associates (to make sure they collect from their clients :) ), and eat ice cream (this is a must to calm myself, I know someone will frown his face reading this, hehehehe).

But besides the stress, I do have some good news. One was from my cousin Kaklong(Kaklong : mula2 panic dapat your email, but after that I sengeh sampai petang, hehehehe) and another one was from my younger brother. Adik got promoted to Senior Engineer. Bravo adik! After this you can buy me that Sony DVD which is so long overdue.

I also did some drastic change over the weekend due to the stress (I got the bill on Friday). I cut my hair very-very-very-very-very-very-very short!!!. Cost me RM50 for wash, scalp treatment, and cut. I also managed to eat Sushi, something that I have crave for the past whole week. And still loose 1kg (as per my weight check this morning, hehehehe).

Now I want to go home and get some rest. Tomorrow’s target : RM500k.

Myvi Kemek

My car was hit from behind on Monday last week. I was happily listening to radio and feeling cheerfull to start the week that Monday morning, when out of sudden my car was hit. I came out of the car and saw the behind was kemek. :(

The amoi from the car behind came out and said “Sorry kak, I tengah buat kerja tadi” And I was like “You buat kerja dalam kereta? Pegi office lah baru buat kerja. How now?” I was already mad and angry, but at the same time pitty this amoi lady as her car’s condition was really bad. It was worst than mine. Her front part considered hancur. She ask me not to do a police report but will call me by afternoon to sort things. By 6pm, she still hasn’t called. I called her twice and her reply was : 1)”I masih kat office lagi, I will call you” 2)”I on the way balik rumah hantar my parents, I will call you“. By that time, I was really annoyed as she takes things lightly so I told her that I am going to police station and make my report. Going to Balai Trafik Ampang was a nightmare. With the heavy rain, the massive jam, my perut lapar, I was really cranky.

At the police station, while doing my report (I had to draw the scene of accident – macam kelas lukisan pulak), I met this guy who said he can do the insurance claim process. He gave me his card and ask me to give him a call. By next morning, my father, my brothers, my friends, my colleagues, practically everyone said don’t trust him, just check with the insurance company. So I called the guy who did my insurance and he informed me that the workshop (which happens to be very near to my house) is not registered with Takaful Ikhlas. He instead asked me to send to Perodua as my car is still new and I never had accidents before this. Called my service centre in Keramat, they said they can repair and claim from insurance but I need to get a whole lot of documents. Thank God my father knows very well the OC (officer in charge or in malay, ketua polis balai) of Trafik Ampang. I gave him a call, and he said he will do the necessary and give me a call once documents are ready. My despatch collected all forms yesterday.

So tomorrow I will have to send my car for repair and I will not have it for a week. :(

My neighbour offered me to use her car for time being, which I am very thankful. Otherwise I have to stay at Opah’s house for a week and use LRT to work. As for tomorrow, I will dera my driver to send me around. :)
